Closet Organization Favorites
I like to keep my closet as tidy and organized as possible. If everything has its place, it makes it so much easier for me to find what I’m looking for to get ready for my day. Much of what you’ll find in my closet—from storage bins to clothing care items—comes from Amazon, so I put together some of my favorites.
First up are my storage bins, of which I have many! I’m just sharing a sampling here, starting with this one that I use to keep my smaller handbags, clutches and wallets organized. I like that the high back side gives this bin structure, but the lower front allows me to easily see what’s inside and quickly grab when needed. I use storage bins like this and this on my larger shelves and store things like swimwear and workout clothing in them. Note that I opt for fabric-lined bins versus anything wire or wicker to prevent snagging on my clothes. I also like these bins for smaller things like hats and gloves. Although I very rarely wear belts anymore, I have a few I keep in my collection for when the need arises and I store them on this. Similarly, my scarves live on one of these. When we had our closets built out a few years ago, they mounted a tie rack like this one on the side of one of my shelving units and that’s where I hang my necklaces. I like to easily see my earrings and bracelets so this hanging organizer is perfect for them. My handy sweater shaver gives new life to my sweaters each winter, and I like this smaller comb for cashmere. Since I have a lot of overhead storage that’s out of reach, I like having this very lightweight step stool in my closet to pull out when I need to grab something up high. And I like having a pretty stool to set laundry on when I’m putting it away and to sit on when I’m putting on socks and shoes.
